New Build (2006),
Fendalton, Christchurch
Kitchen, Bathrooms, Laundry, Wardrobes, interior doors, interior and exterior scheme

This new home required a high level of finish and attention to detail as it was built to be sold.

The style of the kitchen was designed to be modern and streamlined but also have a warmth to the interior scheme so as to have general appeal as well as be suitable for a family home.  The finishes used are 2-pak laquer cabinetry 100% gloss with a cut and polish finish, teak veneer,  reconstituted quartz benchtops, use of mitre detail to drawer panels to create handleless drawers.

Most of the bathrooms were compact ensuite spaces, so design decisions were made in order to make best use of the spaces available.  The plumbing fittings chosen are best suited to small bathrooms. Storage was still an important requirement so custom wall hung vanities were designed (handleless).  The interior door design is mateluxe glass and cedar frame sliding panels to allow additional light into the bathrooms.
